Claymore 106

AHHH YESSS! Finally in Chapter 106 we get to see MIRIA IN ACTION. When was the last time we saw the strongest Ghost kick some ass, more than a year ago? The first page explains that this took place straight after Dietrich told them the news about Helen and Deneve, before she left. So I guess this was a little step back in time from the current action with the group in the West. I'm saying this because Dietrich definitely took some time to gather the Abyssal Feeders and fight off the Parasites and the current timeframe is Clare VS Priscilla.

We are then treated with a shocking image of Miria cutting down her most loyal follower Tabitha. At that point Miria had to make a decision upon hearing the news from Dietrich, join the remaining Ghosts in the West, or head to the Organisation when it's at it's weakest to defeat them. She decides now's the time to destroy the Organisation, and she had to stop Tabitha from following her as she wanted to do this alone. Tabitha would never leave her side. CRUEL but there was no choice.

The fan community must have been wondering how Yagi is gonna bring Miria into the picture where Clare is in a war with Priscilla, it was very clear to everyone that Miria's inteference will have no effect and wouldn't help much.

Hence the only decision left, and perhaps the best, was to head towards the Organisation. The Organisation's trump cards, Alicia and Beth which Galatea could very well sense from Rabona, had been killed. The Organisation is at it's weakest now especially when their next strongest Claymore, No.4 Miata had already abandoned them. It had been Miria's aim from the very beginning, to bring down the Organisation hence that is the BEST time to strike!!

Galatea remarks that at her current state, she wouldn't be able to stop Miria even if she wanted to. Hmm it makes you wonder...Galatea the former No.3 and Miria a former No.6, after seven years this is how it turned out? We will be able to gauge how strong Miria is in the later panels.

Finally a nostalgic moment as Miria puts on her old Claymore outfit in her mission to destroy the Organisation single-handedly. It is sweet revenge after 7 years, and very ironic indeed. With that Miria left Rabona without a word. Some agree that she is being a complete bitch here, ignoring Galatea and striking her most loyal follower. I was abit shocked to see this side of Miria.

UPPPSKIRRT PANTY SHOTTTT. After Tabitha woke up, Galatea explained Miria's situation and her decisions. Miria only injured Tabitha to the point where she would be bedridden and not fatal, so she can't follow her to the Organisation. Galatea revealed that Miria has intent to kill humans, the forbidden rule for Claymores. Will Tabitha be willing to do that, or will she do it just because she's loyal to Miria? Thus it's best that Tabitha stay in Rabona. But god dammit in all honesty she should have went with her, just for the sake of character development. We've seen so much of the other Ghosts and their massive power-ups, but Tabitha is the only one which haven't got much screen time.

Speaking of a step back in time, perhaps Miria is indeed in the same timeframe as Clare at this point as she might have taken some time to travel from Rabona to the Organisation. We see the aftermath of Miria's intrusion inro the Organisation here. It is a given that NO CLAYMORE in the current generation can stand up to Miria. But I do feel Miata who has the potential to be No.1 in Alicia's generation, fighting on par with a much senior Galatea, could most possibly handle Miria. I'm really eager to see what Yagi has in store for Clarice and Miata in the story, she's way too strong to be ignored.

Here we see the current generation's No.3 Audrey and No.5 Rachel pitting against Miria. Sigh...it's sad that these 2 are always seen in such bad light as they have been put up against the Abyssal Riful, and now Miria which way overpowers them. In reality they are perhaps as strong as Teresa's generation with Sophie and Noel. Galatea's generation is perhaps the most powerful the Organisation had ever been with the following lineup,

#1 Alicia
#2 Beth
#3 Galatea
#4 Ophelia
#5 RAPHAELA
#6 MIRIA
#8 Flora
#9 Jean

HOW MUCH BETTER CAN IT GET? That is way way way more powerful than what we've seen with Teresa and Miata's generation.

Miria showcases her new mirage technique that doesn't utilise yoki, which means with using her basic speed she can execute it infinite amounts of times. Can you just imagine how ridiculously powerful she will become when she releases her yoki for the first time in 7 years. Maybe we will see MULTIPLE ILLUSIONS!!!!! WOOOOOO that would be so extremely cool HAHA.

As expected the current No.3 and 5 proves no sweat for the Phantom.

I like this shot of Miria. She is wearing her old Claymore uniform, but with her new hairstyle hehe! Awesome looking rebel.

This panel is interesting. I'm not sure if it's a translation issue, or did Rubel really mean something. Only a little bit left? What did he actually mean, do u have any idea what he's referring to? Drop me a comment!

Ahuh! The debut of the new twin experiment, straight out of Training school. They don't even have their symbols yet! Sigh I really do miss Alicia and Beth, they are the coolest thing that ever happened in this manga I swear. These twins can't even compare, they do look weird and void of emotions like they are supposed to.

Even as trainees, they could already achieve full controlled awakening, and dare I say more successful than Alicia and Beth. But my guess is that their awakened form is not as strong as Alicia's yet, hence Miria is able to handle them. Alicia's Queen of Blades form was in response to eliminate the ribbon like Riful, hmmm guess what is the purpose of these twins? Maybe there's just no target for this generation of twins.

Miria is surprised at the turn of events as she has never witnessed controlled awakening before, only Galatea had seen it back then.

For one person to handle 2 above average Claymores who can awaken, is no joke. Even if they are trainees, I believe Miria is still having a hard time based on her facial expressions. Rubel also states that Miria won't be able to handle Alicia and Beth alone, had they been here. Hence I guess with this we can get a rough gauge of Miria's power after 7 years. In this current generation of claymores, here's the possible power ranking,

#1 Miria
#2 Clare
#3 Miata
#4 Trainee Twin A
#5 Trainee Twin B
#6 Galatea
#7 Deneve
#8 Helen
#9 Dietrich
#10 Audrey
#11 Rachel
#12 Cynthia
#13 Yuma
#14 Renee
#15 Nina

Tabitha?

Back to the fight, here we witness an instant swop in awakening between the twins. This trainees are far more advanced in their techniques than Alicia and Beth, they could be the very answer to what the mainland troops need to fight the dragonkin. But in terms of power, they are far below Alicia. In time to come these twins will pose a great threat to the Ghosts. I really love that they have a bad ass tail!!

And at the end, Rubel reveals....the twins are not the Organisation's trump card. Think!! Think!!!! Who could be the Organisation's trump card!! Raki? Abyssal Feeders? Conjoined Twins? Either way, I have a feeling Miria's turn of events are gonna unfold in the next chapter. It would be unwise for Yagi to jump back into the Clare VS Priscilla (DAMN U YAGI) cliffhanger as it will be too choppy and irritating for the readers. Or perhaps..........we could have chapters alternating here and there between the two events happening on the island, which could tie in together in a big finale?

Imagine Miria meets a parasite infested Raki, and that somehow ties in with Clare and Priscilla fight. If my guess happens, I will be really shocked hahaha, but it is very possible. CHAPTER 107 GUYS! A FEW MORE DAYS................
