First of all I'm also not sure what's happening on the album cover. Is Cleopatra's alien sister exploding with metallic armpit hair? Kelis IS a very creative artiste, that's a given. But it's sad that this album shoot looked a little B-grade, compared to the songs on it which were leakin ACE. THIS ALBUM IS FIRE. Fantastic fantastic fantastic album, probably the best pop or dance album I have heard this year.....or maybe ever.....?
22nd Century
4th of July
This is one album you must listen from start till the end because it is constructed like a 37 minute continuous flow of dance music, COURTESY OF DAVID GUETTA AND BENNY BENAFUCKINGSSI. OMG two of those producers meshed together equates to electronica that grands you the steps to heaven bitches!!!! Seriously how can you not love music like this? And let's not take the credit away from Kelis cause I love her husky voice. Smooth and deep, flowing along lightly, complimenting but not taking attention away from the excellent electronica porn.
Emancipate
Song For The Baby
You know what's really sad? This album has only 9 songs, and one of them is just an intro. The more depressing part is I love every song on it, why can't there be more!!! This is like a classic example of quality over quantity. BUT, if the idea of the album is so that you can easily listen to the entire 37 minutes at one go, which isn't overbearingly long, I THINK THAT IS FUCKING AWESOME. I am so okay with 9 tracks if that is the idea, it's 37 minutes of gorgeous techno landscape, consistently good throughout, and in bite size.

This is award winning 5/5 material if you love electronica. If you don't like the genre.......what age are u living in, you're missing out on so much!!!!!!!!!!
