OH MY FUCKING GOD??? I TOTALLY HAD NO IDEA REC 2 WOULD BE OUT SO SOON!!!!

To be honest it's my second time watching it now on youtube as I type (links at the end of the entry). Yes the whole freaking spanish movie is on youtube with english subtitles!!!!! OH MY GOD AM I LUCKY OR WHAT???? Last night Almeric messaged me that there was a REC 2 trailer, and I just so amazingly found a link to watch the entire thing. NOW I JUST CAN'T STOP RAVING ABOUT THE DAMN MOVIE TO EVERYONE!!!!! I couldn't stop talking about it to my colleague, she loves Part 1 too!!! REC IS JUST FUCKING GOOD U HAFTA WATCH IT.

Ok I needa cool down. Nobody is interested in me raving about something they don't even know. I'm sure all of u know I'm a HUGE fan of the first REC movie. I won't emphasize much on the nature of the film as I already have in the past. I know some of you have watched Part 1 already, don't worry I won't spoil anything hahah!!!

The movie picks up where the last movie ended, in fact the timeline in which the sequence of events happens, is what I love best about the movie. Absolutely flawless storytelling going on!!! And what is so awesome about this movie is that regardless of how impossible it seems to let the story flow with only one handheld cam's perspective, the plot had a very special twist which allowed the story to continue almost effortlessly. It's just so gripping from start till end, you really only get to heave a sigh of relief when the credits start rolling. Well I don't think I will review it so thoroughly since you are better off watching this amazing film and judging it yourself.

I don't consider the following topic a spoiler, as you can clearly see it happening at the end of Part 1. But if you didn't see Part 1, DON'T READ! Skip till the end for links to watch REC 2 !!!!!!

Fans should know that Part 2 would involve some kind of supernatural possession, something which was not even emphasized till the end. REC2 has lots of scenes where the "demon" possesses an infected, and starts to converse with the characters in the movie.

I read some comments online and people seemed to get REALLY PISSED OFF that the supposedly "zombie" movie turned out to be an exorcism movie in Part 2. And they are so glad that Quarantine 2 (probably will be a sad piece of garbage hollywood remake of REC 2) will be focusing on continuing the zombie genre instead of following REC 2 's storyline. To add on to my anger that is flaring up as I type, they say that REC 2's focus on the supernatural has taken away the realism of the first movie which focused on the infection.

OH FUCK OFF. AS IF THE INFECTION HAS ANY FUCKING SENSE OF REALISM IN IT. Truth to be told, violent possessions and exorcisms are more documented than zombie spreading infections. As a matter of fact, I hate zombie films as they are so bloody generic and all of them seems to be a carbon copy of the other. I just love the new concept of "zombies" being the result of demonic possessions, finally we get a supernatural twist on the incredibly stale genre. Actually if you wanna get honest here, I think zombie is a really lousy word to describe those that are infected.

Just cause an un-American zombie film decided to get out of a box, doesn't mean the rest of the so called "hardcore zombieflick" fans should decide that REC 2 is a horribly disappointing sequel. OH FUCK OFF. This so called fans are fucking zombies I swear, they have no sense of intelligence in their brains and can't bring themselves to accept things that they are unfamiliar with. And they seem to love REC 1 very much?? With the first part's ending, did they not see the supernatural plot coming in the sequel????

Ok ranting aside, here are the super precious REC2 links and you MUST watch it before they take it down!!!! You have to!!! Tomorrow is friday, and the weekend is here, you have no excuse to miss the best horror film ever made. BUT, if you haven't watch Part 1, PLEASE DO NOT WATCH PART 2. PLEASE!!! I AM BEGGING YOU ON MY KNEES!!!! The story in Part 1 is VERY crucial to the sequel, and it's part of the amazing flow in the timeline of events. In fact you can most definitely watch both films together as it continues seamlessly, and I believe both films sum up to be below 3 hours.
