Can you believe it? I want to be all surprised and say it's already the 100th issue! But the truth is IT'S BEEN A FREAKING LONG TIME!!!!! For a monthly manga like claymore, I can just roughly estimate that it has already been 8 years. Thank god I only started somewhere around 2008, I can just imagine the pain that a longtime fan must feel. It's already the 100th issue and there really is still SO MUCH more in the story, I'm not ready to wait another 8 years for the ending.

As we left off Chapter 99 with the arrival of Priscilla, the first few panels reveal that the scent she was following has been Clare's all along. Initially everyone thought the weak scent was referring to Raki, but now it seems like Priscilla stuck with Raki all these years because he had the smell of Clare in him. I guess this explains why Priscilla left Raki in search of Clare as she was nearby.

But Priscilla has no idea who is she, she's still suffering an amnesia it seems. Priscilla herself feels that Clare is someone important or special, but can't recall why.

Lest we forget, Priscilla beheaded Clare's only companion Teresa in the past. Which is why she's going totally berserk here! Very typical of Clare's character to rush into things without analysing the situation. The entire group there with Helen and Deneve is under a constant barrage of missiles from The Destroyer who had just released it's second wave last chapter.

It seems a little odd with this zigzag motion of her sword, is she executing the windcutter??? Anyway Prisicilla gave her a kick in the vagina, NO DOUBT about that part.

Apparently there was an incoming missile that crashed into them, which was why Priscilla kicked her away. So the weird part about this is that Priscilla is actually trying to protect Clare!!! Just a few chapters ago, Priscilla was absolutely merciless in slaughtering both Beth and Alicia, but she is not initiating any aggression here. Priscilla clearly does not want to fight, she wants to know more about Clare to help her remember the past.

The Awakened One raises her legs and slammed Clare into the ground. How degrading to be under your opponent's feet and eating dirt!

Just then another missile arrives and all Priscilla did was to stop and crush it with her bare hands. It just proves to show how ridiculously overpowered she is at this point. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if she is way more powerful than The Destroyer now. Right now I'm jus wondering what on earth is the purpose of The Destroyer in this manga? To initiate the chaos up till now? I mean all that trouble for Riful to find the appropriate Claymore to awaken the sisters, and now they seem like just a pair of mindless missile launchers. I am so damn eager to see how the story unfolds for the sisters.

Trust Helen to help out a comrade in need, even at the risk of her life.

But as expected Priscilla stops her attack so very easily, and Clare immediately follows up with another frontal attack.

Just then Priscilla is impaled by what seems like a white flash. I seriously doubt it is the silhouette of Clare's sword as it's way too wide. So I guess it's one of The Destroyer's missiles? But why couldn't Priscilla dodge it this time? Mehh I'm still a little confused about what's happening here.

It would make sense if it is a missile as it pierced right through both of them. Or it could be both of them attacked each other in that instant.

After much persuasion by Helen and Deneve to retreat, even after bringing up the topic of Raki, Clare did not budge. She raging out of control, and her only goal now is to awaken so that she can bring Priscilla down.

This certainly brings back memories of the War at the North where Clare awoken 7 years ago. However that time Jean was there to sacrifice herself and bring Clare back to her human state, what will happen to Clare now? Will she be able to turn herself back and gain full control of the awakening process? If she can do it then the Partially Awakened ones will have a very promising future in the story.

Nothing new here, we've seen it all in Pieta. But I was kinda surprised she awoken again this chapter, I was so hoping Miria and gang would come to intervene. I guess the meeting between Priscilla and a berserk Clare would be absolutely fitting for the 100th chapter.

But just as Clare was about to go beyond control and fully awaken, something surprising happened. She was being pulled back into her human form almost immediately!! Was Galatea nearby to stop her from going out of control? Or did Raphaela pass on a mechanism into Clare to keep her awakening in check? It certainly didn't seem like Priscilla did anything to Clare.

In fact the Abyssal One herself was rather surprised at what happened. I don't know about the accuracy of the translations, but why did Priscilla say Clare was not supposed to awaken? Is there something that Priscilla knows about Clare that hasn't been revealed in the manga?
Oh well I could go on and on but I'm actually secretly blogging at work now HAHA. So see you guys a month later, I really really really hope someone new comes into the chapter, so sick of seeing the 4 of them!

I read the Chinese scans and it sounded to me in the last panel that Priscilla was saying "You can't even awaken?" in a somewhat mocking manner. Don't know which translation was more accurate though.
Blogging at work LOL. I never actually posted during work, but I did do some write-ups which I later copy and pasted into the post hahaha.
