Monster Hunter Freedom Unite!

Okay I'm so ready to restart the entire game when this official English version is released. Eventhough I've spent hundreds of hours on my translated japanese version which was released a year before, climbing all the way to G-Rank quests. ARE U FUCKING CRAZY? That must be on the minds of those who play monster hunter before, because to replay it is like so ardous and time consuming. The satisfaction you get when you gather the materials needed to upgrade a weapon, the power you feel when you rape Congalala in 1minute and you used to fail that quest 10 times in a row...I dunno. I'm just so excited to start from scratch with the properly translated version. FANBOY MAH!

You know people always see my inventory and exclaim right up that I use cheats. FUCK! Yes I have contemplated using cheats because I had nobody to hunt with anymore, but thank god I didn't or it will be a big slap to my face for spending hundreds of legit hours on it. People see that I have like a hundred weapons and they think I must be a cheater. Well if you stick with only 1 weapon type throughout the game you're pretty much a lousy hunter who can't use all weapon types. I hate those Great Sword users who think their weapon is really bigfuck but truth is I can kill Shen Gao Ren a lot faster with a Bow.

I love upgrading different weapon types from scratch and see what I end up with! So here's some of the sets I have, which isn't very powerful mind you. LIDAT CALL CHEAT AH?



My Meloha Flower Set, I always use it to gather materials like Ruststones and Raw Meat. It has like +20 Hi Speed Gathering so I mine and gather uber fast!!! Best Gathering Set in my opinion.



I lost count how many times I fought Naruga just for this very useful evasive set. The Hidden Bow is like one of the best bows around as well, 50% Affinity omg godlike!!! This set increases my Defensive Manuevres, so one roll is like a lot further than usual, damn right useful for bowers!!!



Monoblos Set with Gun Chariot! I finally conquered Akantor alone in this set during ROC hahah!! Gunlance is like overpowered sometimes, it's attack is so high, it blocks and it explodes as well!! Ridiculous!!



These Garuga Fans are fucking powerful and sharp, I used it a lot during the middle HRs, until I got my Gun Chariot. What makes these fans so painful is it's 30% Affinity as well.



I couldn't resist making this Corn Cannon!!!! DAMN CUTE AND FUNNY LAH AHHA. You fight monsters with your friends and you see an idiot with a huge ass corn running around, the monster will laugh until K.O! The attack power is no joke though, 500 raw damage when fully upgraded, very high for a gunlance.



DAMN BADASS LAH!!! Behold my new super chio weapon, the Anchor Hammer!!! I think it's damn chio lah!!! I get so much satisfaction knocking off small fucks with this humongous painful anchor, in one hit!! KONG!



Yes I'm obsessed with Plesioth Set as well, damn badass looking. I just made it like a few days ago, plus this Plesiothfin Crystalsword which is another damn chio weapon. BAD ASS. BAD ASS. BADAZZZ.

Of course that's not all, I did say I have more than a hundred weapons right haha? And fuck you I bet you think I use cheats, u bitch!!!! Monster Hunter has a grand total of more 1500 weapons and 2000 armour sets. After playing for like 10 months or something, I don't think I'm even halfway through the damn thing. I have yet to finish up the G-Rank Quests, tons of badges I haven't gotten, incomplete Training Quests, barely even touched Treasure Hunting, have not met a lot of the new high rank monsters, hardly 1/10 of the total amount of weaponry, barely half of the combo list completed!! And I'm gonna restart?? YES. A RESOUNDING YES!!! AND ALL THE FANS ARE SAYING YES WITH ME!!!!



It's good to know I'm not crazy, especially when there are millions of fans worldwide eagerly awaiting for this english release. The internet works wonders today, with the japanese release last year, hardcore fans helped put out a translation patch for the game. This enabled people like me to experience the game in english which is a really big plus. But the sad thing was all the terms were not official, and not everything was fully translated. I mean we always think it's called Naruga Karuga coz the fans translated it that way, but the official name is Nargacuga, and Hypnoc is atually Hypnocatrice! Hello small things like this pisses off fans like me, we go for all the minute details! That's a Monster Hunter Purist for you, IN YOUR FACE!!!

3 different versions dominating the Top Ten? And it states Freedom Unite shipped 3 million units IN JAPAN ONLY, so if it's released in the US and Europe this week then.....I'm not crazy y'all!! I'm so obsessed with this game haha, I guess there's some unknown addictive reason why everyone loves it so much. It's like a phenomena in Japan, the new Pokemon as stated by professionals in the gaming industry. People buy a few drinks, gather and hunt monsters together all night long with their friends. I believed I blogged about it before in the past, where a random stranger just came up to me in the MRT and started talking to me about Monster Hunter coz I was playing it. It felt like the Digimon days all over again, where a particular game is so widely celebrated.

But the problem with most people in my army camp is that they are so over the game, they have moved on to other games. But the truth is, it was everyone's game a few months back. And we could have got into the craze the same time with the US and Europe now, if we didn't play the translated version. Now that the official english version is out, I doubt anybody cares haha! Well at least Xian wants to play it!!! But I doubt he will burn as much hours as I did haha, people like to act busy sometimes.

Oh by the way the game already leaked on the internet this afternoon, 2 days before it's official release date. PIRATES! I NEED MY PIRATES NOW.
